Painting portraits is something we really enjoy, but we haven’t done them in a while. We also want to get back to our favorite techniques: using more patterns, surrealistic effects, and playing with styles.
So we decided to do some portraits at a lower price.
ANY HEADSHOT: $45
• We can paint all kinds of characters: furries, anthros, ferals, humans, humanoids, fantasy and sci-fi species, monsters, hybrids, etc.
Particularly interested in:
• Rare or unusual species (we can think of insects and other invertebrates; surprise us)
• Characters with intricate designs
• Interesting textures: iridescent, translucent, metallic, glowing; very smooth or very rough; fuzzy, wet, glossy, sparkly, etc.
We like to show characters' personalities and conveying ideas via visual language: textures, patterns, brushwork, effects, symbols, meaningful objects.
Some things about your character you might want to include in the commission description:
• Personality, notable traits, mood; creed, passion, purpose
• Abilities, profession, hobbies; type of magic they use; element they have affinity for
• Objects that represent the character in some way (some ideas: favorite flower, spirit animal, item that symbolizes their culture/group/important event in their life)
• Aesthetics, vibe, inspirational images
